Stimulus resource

The purpose of a ‘Learning pathway outline’ is to list the individual sub-pages planned for a learning pathway, and the proposed content and placement of media and activities within the planned sequence.

Download a copy of a completed example of a “Learning pathway outline template” and compare this outline summary with the actual pages of this learning pathway.

Notes

  • The title of each sub-page in the learning pathway is specified in the rows
  • The corresponding cells in the columns are used to:
    • Summarise the content intended for each of the sub-pages
    • List proposed sub-headings (if needed) – this will provide a rough indication if your pages are getting too long.
    • Form elements where you can list images, media, e-Learning activities, and other pedagogical components for the individual sub-pages.
    • Show the assessment column, where you can indicate where formative and summative assessment will take place within the learning pathway.
