This module supports Pacific TVET educators, including those new to technology, in developing essential digital skills for modern classrooms. You’ll be introduced to learning management systems (LMS) such as Moodle and Google Classroom to structure lessons, apply basic cybersecurity practices to safeguard data, and use communication tools like WhatsApp, Viber, and Telegram to engage students. You’ll also learn to assess these tools using the SECTIONS model to ensure they align with your teaching goals. These skills will empower you to design secure, engaging, and context-appropriate learning experiences.
This module focuses on developing foundational digital skills, enabling you to enhance teaching and learning in your Pacific TVET classroom. By the end of this module, you will be able to:
