Imagine you’ve prepared a lesson on equipment safety for your trade class. This imaginary case study will serve as the main thread throughout the module. You won’t be expected to actually teach the lesson. Instead, we’ll use it as a consistent example to help you explore how digital tools can improve lesson delivery. The focus of this module is not on the lesson content itself, but on how you can use digital tools to deliver it more effectively.

This module guides you through a journey to strengthen your digital teaching skills: you’ll learn how to use a Learning Management System (LMS) like Moodle or Google Classroom to organise and share your lesson, engage students through tools such as WhatsApp, Viber, or Telegram, apply basic cybersecurity practices, and evaluate your chosen tools using the SECTIONS model.

Let’s begin by setting up your lesson!
