The Mainstreaming Open Distance and Flexible Learning<\/b> was developed for the Pacific Partnership for Open, Distance and Flexible Learning<\/a> (PPODFL)\n<\/p>\n

The Partnership for ODFL in the Pacific is a 5-year project (2020 \u2013 2025) funded by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade to support and enhance capacity and efficiency of education sectors in the Pacific through greater use of innovative delivery mechanisms and technology. The Commonwealth of Learning (COL)<\/a>, together with the Pacific Centre for Flexible and Open Learning for Development<\/a> (PACFOLD), is implementing the project in the nine Commonwealth countries in the Pacific (Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu).\n<\/p>\n

Ephraim Mhlanga, Programme Specialist in Quality Assurance at the South African Institute for Distance Education (Saide) in South Africa was commissioned to design, develop and facilitate the inaugural offering of the course.\n<\/p>\n
