Interactive learning materials, such as quizzes and games, foster active participation and align with UDL\u2019s Engagement principle by motivating students through opportunities for collaboration and the ability to choose how they engage with the content. These materials support learning by turning passive study into active exploration.
\nFor example, in your equipment safety lesson, you might give students the choice to either complete a quiz on safety procedures individually or take part in a group-based quiz activity. This provides learners with options. Some may prefer to check their understanding independently, while others may learn better through teamwork and discussion.
