Dr. Deepak Prasad is a proud son of the Pacific, born and raised in Fiji, where his deep-rooted island identity continues to shape his approach to education and equity. Deepak brings over two decades of experience in transforming learning and teaching in developing contexts through innovative, inclusive, and open approaches.\n<\/p>\n

He currently serves as an Education Advisor and Consultant, working with a range of leading international organisations such as the Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Asian Development Bank (ADB), UNESCO, and PROMAN. He previously held the role of Associate Dean for Learning and Teaching Enhancement at Fiji National University, where he led institution-wide reforms in digital pedagogy and academic support.\n<\/p>\n

Deepak holds a PhD in Open Education, a Master of Educational Technology, a Master of Intellectual Property Law, a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Technology, and a Diploma in Teacher Training.\n<\/p>\n

Outside his professional work, Deepak enjoys spending time with his family, boating, fishing, and appreciating a well-crafted beer!\n<\/p>\n
