How to earn your Certificate

You can earn either a Certificate of Achievement or a Certificate of Completion, depending on the modules you choose to complete:

• Certificate of Achievement is awarded if you complete only Module 0, including its learning challenge, and then exit the course.
• Certificate of Completion is awarded if you complete Modules 1–4 or the full sequence Modules 0–4, including all learning challenges.

The OERu Moodle site will automatically issue your DS4TC21 certificate once it confirms that you’ve met the relevant completion requirements. Certificates will be generated and emailed to eligible participants, following verification of submitted learning challenges.

Remember: You will receive only one certificate based on your chosen learning path. If you complete only Module 0 and exit the course, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement. If you complete Modules 1–4, or the full course from Modules 0–4, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. In this case, you will not receive an additional Certificate of Achievement for Module 0

How to view and download your Certificate of achievement/ completion

Your certificate will be automatically emailed to you at the email address you used to register for OERu’s Moodle.

How to verify your Certificate of achievement/ completion

Employers (and other interested persons) may want to verify that your DS4TC21 Certificate of achievement/ completion was issued by the OERu’s Moodle website.

1. Share the unique verification code printed at the bottom left-hand corner of your PDF Certificate of achievement/ completion.
2. Invite interested persons to visit the OERu verification page: https://moodle.oeru.org/mod/customcert/verify_certificate.php
3. Enter the unique verification code.
4. Click on the verify button to confirm the course and issue of the certificate by OERu’s moodle.oeru.org website.
