Complete the activity below and submit your work as a PDF on Moodle to demonstrate how you can enhance your teaching with technology; click here to submit.

Activity: Create a mini-lesson plan (200–300 words) for your equipment safety lesson, including:

  • One UDL principle (e.g., Representation) with a resource (e.g., audio).
  • One tool (e.g., Google Docs) for engagement.
  • One digital citizenship guideline (e.g., privacy).

List three steps to implement your lesson, using the chosen UDL principle, tool, and guideline.
For example:

  1. Share a printed safety diagram (Representation);
  2. Use Google Docs to collaboratively draft a checklist;
  3. Teach students to share only approved checklists.

Reflect (80–100 words) on how your plan promotes inclusivity, engagement, and ethical behaviour.

When you are happy with your mini-lesson plan, upload it to the DS4TC21 Moodle site and earn a badge.

If you’re not sure about any aspect of the learning challenge, please post them to the DS4C21 Moodle site. [Moodle Enrolment key: ds4tc21 (all lowercase)]
