Share it online in an open educational resource collection (&#8216;repository&#8217;).<\/b>\n<\/p>\n<p>Prepare your lesson plan in a way that will be easy for another teacher to present this lesson.\n<\/p>\n<div class=\"floatright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.oeru.org\/s\/Gj7jpY9RAxyFQNx\" rel=\"nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DS4OERS-Lessonplan-page-1A.png\" src=\"\/\/wikieducator.org\/images\/6\/6e\/DS4OERS-Lessonplan-page-1A.png\" width=\"500\" height=\"707\" class=\"img-responsive\"><\/a><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li> Using LibreOffice Writer, develop a lesson plan in a subject area of your choice. You can use your favourite lesson plan format, if you have one, or you can download this template as an editable file in the format of your choice:\n<ul>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.oeru.org\/s\/wJsGZ2HPJDNtZR4\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"(opens in a oew browser tab\/window)\">DS4OERS Lesson plan template<\/a> (.ODT)\n<\/li>\n<li> <a rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external text\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.oeru.org\/s\/Gj7jpY9RAxyFQNx\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"(opens in a oew browser tab\/window)\">DS4OERS Lesson plan template<\/a> (.DOCX)\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Fill in the summary details on the lesson plan, including:\n<ul>\n<li> Your name\n<\/li>\n<li> Date\n<\/li>\n<li> Subject\n<\/li>\n<li> Year level of the class\n<\/li>\n<li> Time allocated for the lesson in minutes\n<\/li>\n<li> Your country\n<\/li>\n<li> Title of the lesson\n<\/li>\n<li> Curriculum alignment, referring to the relevant sub-section of your national curriculum\n<\/li>\n<li> The topic area\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> List the learning outcomes for this lesson.\n<\/li>\n<li> Summarise the learning strategy or strategies for this lesson.\n<\/li>\n<li> Summarise the planned assessment approach(es), which might include:\n<ul>\n<li> Assessment <i>for<\/i> learning\n<\/li>\n<li> Assessment <i>as<\/i> learning\n<\/li>\n<li> Assessment <i>of<\/i> learning\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li> Provide a title or description for each resource included in the lesson, with URL links where teachers can download the resources (i.e. the direct link to the Open Education Resource collection website. Note, this must link to <i>your actual resources<\/i>, not the home-page of the website.)\n<\/li>\n<li> Provide a summary of each part of the lesson in order. Include descriptions of the learning activities, and show where assessment activities are incorporated into the lesson.\n<\/li>\n<li> If possible, ask a colleague or friend to provide feedback on your lesson plan, with suggestions for improvements. Make any changes.\n<\/li>\n<li> Complete the open licence statement, adding the year and the copyright holder. You can change to a different OER open licence if needed, but we recommend CC-BY-SA.\n<\/li>\n<li> Save your lesson plan on your computer, and export a PDF version of the lesson.\n<\/li>\n<li> Upload the lesson plan to the DS4OERS <a href=\"\/ds4oers\/learning-challenges\/establish-a-ple\/ds4oers-moodle-site\" title=\"DS4OERS\/Orientation\/Moodle\">Moodle site<\/a> for approval by a teacher on this course.
